John Denver Quiz

The solo studio albums of John Denver, who took his stage name from the Colorado city, was made the state's poet laureate at thirty, and wrote or sang the songs two American states later adopted as their own. Twenty-five albums, 1966 to 1997, from a debut pressed in a tiny run to a children's record about trains released the year he died. Not counted here: the albums he made as a member of the Mitchell Trio, the Christmas records, and the two he shared with Plácido Domingo and the Muppets — all of which his discography files separately, and all of which turn up as wrong answers instead. One 1990 album is listed under two names and both are accepted.
