SNL Cast Members Quiz

The 40 best-known people who were in the cast of Saturday Night Live, NBC's late-night sketch show, from the first season in 1975 to now. In vs out: repertory and featured players are in; hosts, writers and musical guests who were never in the cast are out. The roster and each player's years on the show come from Wikipedia's list of SNL cast members; the 40 are the cast members with the widest coverage on Wikipedia and Wikidata, so many fine players are not here. Name the cast from their years on the show, match each face to a name, snap each recurring character to the player who played it, pick the real cast out of a grid of comedians who never were, and answer trivia about the show.
